“I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.  Galatians 2:20 (BSB)

When you came into Christ, something astonishing happened—something far deeper than forgiveness, far greater than a fresh start. Christ didn’t simply save you from something; He united Himself to you. The One who conquered death, the One who reigns at the right hand of the Father, the One who holds all authority in heaven and on earth—lives in you. Not symbolically. Not poetically. Literally, spiritually, and powerfully.

This is the mystery Paul called “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” It means the Christian life is not you trying to imitate Jesus from a distance. It is Christ expressing His Life through you from within. You are not living for God in your own strength; you are living from God through His indwelling presence. The life you now live is not powered by willpower, discipline, or self‑effort. It is powered by the very Life of Christ Himself.

But here’s where many believers struggle: they still see themselves as separate from Him. They pray as if He is far away. They fight battles as if they are alone. They face challenges as if they must muster up enough faith to overcome. Yet the Gospel declares something radically different—Christ lives in you! His strength is in you. His peace is in you. His authority is in you. His wisdom is in you. His victory is in you.

The more you become aware of His indwelling presence, the more your life begins to shift. Fear loses its grip because you realize you are never facing anything alone. Temptation loses its power because you are not fighting it with human resolve but by the power of His might which strengthens you. Pressure loses its weight because you are not carrying it—you are yoked to the One who upholds all things by the Word of His power.

Today is about awareness. It’s about waking up to the reality that Christ is not merely with you—He is in you. His Life is your life. His strength is your strength. His victory is your victory. You are not trying to become someone God can use; you are already united with the One God uses to change the world. Let this Truth settle deeply: the Christian life is not achieved—it is received. It is Christ living His Victorious Life through you, one moment at a time.

Confession:

Christ lives in me. His Life is my life, His strength is my strength, and His victory is my victory. I live today fully aware of His presence within me.

Prayer:

Jesus, make me deeply aware of Your indwelling Life. Let Your strength, Your wisdom, and Your peace flow through me in every moment.

Closing Charge:

Walk through today conscious of this reality—Christ lives in you, and nothing you face is bigger than the One inside you.
