Give and It Shall Be Given to You

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38 (BSB)

Giving is not subtraction—it is multiplication in motion. Jesus reveals a Kingdom law in Luke 6:38: when you give, it will be given back to you. Not maybe. Not barely. Not equally. But in a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. This is not the world’s economy. This is Heaven’s. In the Kingdom, giving is never loss. It is sowing. It is planting. It is opening the door for God to pour back into your life more than you released. Giving is how you participate in the supernatural flow of increase.

To say “give and it shall be given to you” means you stop seeing generosity as something that costs you and start seeing it as something that positions you. Giving aligns you with Heaven’s pattern. It places you in the flow of God’s abundance. It breaks the grip of fear and opens the channel of faith. When you give, you are not diminishing your resources—you are activating a Kingdom cycle. You release what is in your hand, and God releases what is in His. And what He releases is always greater.

This Truth breaks the lie that giving leaves you with less. Many believers hesitate to give because they fear lack. They see giving as a drain instead of a doorway. But Jesus dismantles that mindset. In the Kingdom, the measure you use determines the measure you receive. Giving is about heart, trust, and participation. The enemy wants you to believe that generosity will weaken you, but Jesus declares the opposite: generosity strengthens you, enriches you, and positions you for overflow. Giving is not a burden—it is a blessing.

Living this way produces joy and expectation. You stop giving reluctantly and start giving cheerfully. You stop fearing the future because you know God responds to your seed. You stop holding tightly to what you have because you trust the One who multiplies what you release. When you believe Jesus’ words, you give with confidence. You give with purpose. You give with anticipation. You know that every act of generosity is a seed that God Himself will multiply and return in overflowing measure.

Today is about embracing the Truth that giving is not a loss—it is a Kingdom investment. When you give, Heaven responds. When you sow, God multiplies. When you release, God pours back.
