He sent forth His word and healed them; He rescued them from the Pit. — Psalm 107:20 (BSB)

Faith Speaks What It Believes

Scripture reveals that faith believes with the heart and speaks with the mouth. When faith declares what God has spoken, heaven backs that Word with all its authority and resources. It is not human effort that produces supernatural results — it is God confirming His Word. Faith becomes effective when it aligns with Truth, and gives voice to what God has already declared.

Jesus: Speaking Only What the Father Said

Jesus modeled perfect agreement with the Father. He declared that He did nothing on His own initiative but only spoke what He heard the Father say and only acted on what He saw the Father do. His miracles were not the result of His earthly identity but His divine alignment with the Father. The Word He spoke carried the power to heal, raise the dead, deliver, restore, and transform because it originated from God.

One Word from God Changes Everything

Throughout Scripture, a divine Word spoken in faith has shifted circumstances and altered destinies. Ezekiel spoke the Word of the Lord to the dry bones in the desert and restored a vast army. Peter walked on water because Jesus said, “Come.” That word upheld him above the impossible. At Lazarus tomb Jesus declared “Lazarus come out” and Lazarus was raised from the dead. Peter at the temple gave a faith command “In Jesus’ name rise and walk!” to a crippled man and he walked for the first time in his life! From Genesis to Revelation, God consistently works through His Word — sending it, speaking it, and releasing it through His people. One Word from God contains all the power needed to change any situation and it will work through anybody who dares to take God at His Word! It is not the vessel. It is the Word that does the work!

God’s Partnership Through the Mouth of Man

God has always chosen to work through partnership with humanity. He gets His Word to a person so He can get His Word through that person. When spoken in faith, that Word produces divine results. This pattern traces back to creation itself. God, a speaking Spirit, formed the universe with His words and then created humanity in His image — speaking spirits designed to release His will on the earth.

Confession

I declare that my heart believes the Word of God and my mouth speaks the Word of God. Heaven backs every Truth God has spoken, and I align myself with that Truth. I am created in His image as a speaking spirit, empowered to release His will through faith-filled words. One Word from God is enough to change anything, and I speak that Word with confidence, authority, and expectation of the Words results.
