“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” Matthew 6:33 (BSB)

Provision is not the result of striving—it is the result of seeking. Jesus makes the order unmistakably clear in Matthew 6:33: seek first the Kingdom, and all these things will be added. “These things” are not spiritual metaphors. They are the very needs Jesus listed moments earlier—food, clothing, resources, daily supply. The world chases these things. The believer seeks the Kingdom, and the things chase them. Kingdom priority produces earthly provision. When God is first, lack loses its power.

To seek first the Kingdom means you align your life with God’s rule, God’s ways, and God’s priorities. It means you trust His leadership more than your own understanding. It means you pursue His will above your own. It means you let His righteousness define your identity instead of your performance. Seeking the Kingdom is not about religious activity—it is about relational alignment. When your heart is set on Him, your life becomes positioned for His supply. Provision follows order. When the Kingdom is first, everything else finds its place.

This Truth breaks the lie that you must choose between serving God and having your needs met. Many believers live torn between devotion and survival, as if pursuing God will somehow leave them lacking. But Jesus dismantles that fear. The Kingdom does not compete with your needs—it covers them. The enemy wants you to believe that seeking God will cost you, but Scripture declares the opposite: seeking God positions you for addition. God does not subtract from seekers—He adds to them. He supplies. He provides. He takes responsibility for the needs of those who put Him first.

Living this way produces peace and clarity. You stop chasing what the world chases because you know your Father adds what you need. You stop worrying about tomorrow because the Kingdom anchors you in today. You stop striving to make life work because you trust the One who holds your life. When you seek first the Kingdom, you live with a quiet confidence that God is handling what concerns you. You walk with purpose instead of pressure. You live with focus instead of fear. You pursue God, and provision follows.

Today is about embracing the Truth that Kingdom priority is the key to supernatural supply. When God is first, everything else is added.

Confession: I seek first the Kingdom of God. As I put Him first, everything I need is added to me.

Prayer: Father, thank You for the promise that provision follows Kingdom priority. Help me seek You first in every area of my life.

Closing Charge: Live today with Kingdom focus—when God is first, provision always follows.
