“Truly I tell you that if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and has no doubt in his heart but believes that it will happen, it will be done for him.” Mark 11:23 (BSB)
Jesus did not tell you to talk about the mountain—He told you to command to it. Mark 11:23 reveals the core of spiritual authority: mountains move only when believers speak. Sickness, pain, inflammation, fatigue, and every symptom that tries to attach itself to your body is a mountain. And mountains are not moved by wishing, hoping, or silently enduring. They are moved by speaking. Authority is released through words, and symptoms respond to the believer who speaks them in faith. You are not powerless. You are not waiting on God. God is waiting on your voice—the voice of victory, to declare the Truth.
To speak to symptoms means you address them directly and command them to leave. You don’t negotiate with pain. You don’t tolerate discomfort. You don’t accept lingering conditions as normal. You speak to them the way Jesus spoke to fevers, paralysis, and infirmity. He didn’t pray about the them—He commanded them to leave. And they obeyed. When you speak to symptoms, you are exercising the authority Jesus gave you. Your words carry weight in the spirit. Your voice enforces the victory that Christ purchased for you at Calvary.
This Truth breaks the lie that you must wait for symptoms to change before you speak with confidence. Many believers watch their bodies for improvement before they speak boldly. But Jesus said the mountain moves after you speak, not before. Faith speaks first. Authority speaks first. The enemy wants you silent because silence surrenders territory. But when you speak to symptoms, you resist sickness, enforce healing, and activate the power of God’s Word. Symptoms are not in charge—you are.
Living this way produces boldness and clarity. You stop describing how you feel and start declaring what must be. You stop rehearsing symptoms and start commanding change. You stop letting your body dictate your confession and start letting Scripture dictate your authority. Speaking to symptoms is not denial—it is dominion. It is refusing to let your body be ruled by anything Jesus already defeated. Your words are not empty. They are backed by heaven.
Today is about embracing the Truth that authority is exercised through your voice. Symptoms are not permanent. They are not powerful. They are not the final word. You speak, they move.
Confession: I speak to every symptom that would even come near my body. In Jesus’ name, be removed. Now body get in line with the Word of God.
Prayer: Father, thank You for giving me authority through the name of Jesus. Help me speak boldly to every symptom and enforce the healing Jesus purchased.
Closing Charge: Don’t talk about the mountain—command it. Your voice is the voice of victory!
