The Blood Made You Righteous

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace” Ephesians 1:7 (BSB)

The Blood made you righteous. Not your discipline. Not your devotion. Not your spiritual progress. The Blood of Jesus is the only reason you stand before God clean, accepted, and fully righteous. Righteousness is not the result of your effort. It is the result of His sacrifice. You are not trying to earn right standing with God. You are living from the right standing His Blood already secured.

Ephesians 1:7 anchors righteousness in redemption. Redemption is not a partial rescue. It is a complete purchase. Jesus did not negotiate your freedom. He paid for it in full. His Blood did not cover your sins temporarily. It removed them completely. His Sacrifice did not make you “better.” It made you new. Righteousness is not God overlooking your past. Righteousness is God declaring you innocent because the Blood has wash you white as snow and settled your case forever.

The Blood removes every barrier between you and God. It silences the voice of guilt. It breaks the power of shame. It ends the fear of judgment. It dismantles the lie that you are still defined by your failures. When the Blood becomes your foundation, righteousness becomes your identity. You stop trying to qualify yourself and start resting in what Christ has already done. You stop striving to be accepted and start living as someone who already is.

This Truth breaks the lie that righteousness fluctuates with your behavior. Your emotions may shift, but the Blood does not. Your performance may rise and fall, but the Blood does not. Your feelings may change, but the Blood does not. Righteousness is not fragile because the Blood is not fragile. You are not righteous one moment and unrighteous the next. You are righteous because the Blood made you righteous, and nothing can undo what the Blood has done.

Living from Blood‑bought righteousness produces stability. You pray with confidence because you know you are clean. You worship freely because you know you are forgiven. You resist the enemy boldly because you know he has no legal claim on you. You walk through your day with peace because your standing with God is settled. You live with joy because grace has rewritten your identity.

Today is about embracing the Truth that righteousness is not something you achieve—it is something the Blood accomplished for you. You are redeemed. You are forgiven. You are righteous because Jesus made you righteous.
