Think Abundance, Not Scarcity

“…For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good things out of his good store of treasure…” Matthew 12:34–35 (BSB)

Abundance begins inside. Scarcity does too. Jesus reveals a Kingdom principle: whatever fills the heart eventually flows out into life. The inner storehouse determines the outer experience. A heart filled with fear produces fearful words. A heart filled with lack produces limited expectations. But a heart filled with God’s goodness becomes a storehouse of abundance—overflowing with confidence, generosity, and faith. Your life does not rise above your inner world; it reflects it.

To think abundance means you cultivate an inner storehouse shaped by God’s supply, not by the world’s scarcity. It means you meditate on His faithfulness until confidence becomes natural. It means you rehearse His promises until expectation becomes instinct. It means you allow His goodness to fill your heart so deeply that abundance becomes your default posture. Scarcity thinking says, “There isn’t enough.” Abundance thinking says, “God is more than enough.” Scarcity looks at limitations. Abundance looks at the limitless One.

This Truth breaks the lie that your thoughts and inner meditations are harmless. Many believers speak abundance but think scarcity. They declare God’s promises but imagine worst‑case scenarios. They quote Scripture but carry an inner storehouse filled with fear, doubt, and limitation. But Jesus makes it clear: the mouth reveals the heart, and the heart shapes the life. The enemy knows this, which is why he works to fill the inner storehouse with images of insufficiency. But you are not called to live from scarcity—you are called to live from the overflow of God’s goodness.

Living this way produces clarity and confidence. You stop rehearsing lack and start rehearsing God’s abundance. You stop imagining shortage and start imagining supply. You stop thinking like someone barely surviving and start thinking like someone deeply resourced by Heaven. When your inner storehouse shifts, your words shift. Your decisions shift. Your expectations shift. You begin to live from overflow instead of emptiness. Abundance becomes your mindset because God’s goodness becomes your meditation.

Today is about embracing the Truth that abundance is not only something God gives—it is something God forms within you. When your heart is filled with His goodness, your life begins to reflect His abundance.
