“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you.” Luke 10:19 (BSB)

You are qualified for authority. Not because you feel powerful. Not because you have mastered spiritual disciplines. Not because you have earned a higher level of anointing. You are qualified because Jesus gave you His authority. Authority is not something you grow into. It is something you receive the moment you are placed in Christ. You do not fight for authority. You fight from authority.

Luke 10:19 is not a suggestion. It is a legal transfer. Jesus is not motivating you—He is authorizing you. He is handing you His badge, His name, His jurisdiction, and His victory. Authority is not emotional. It is positional. It does not depend on how strong you feel. It depends on where you stand. And you stand in Christ—seated with Him, righteous in Him, and empowered through Him.

Being qualified for authority means the enemy has no legal right to dominate your life. Fear has no right to rule you. Oppression has no right to stay. Darkness has no right to advance. You are not trying to overcome the enemy. You are enforcing the victory Jesus already won. Authority is not about shouting louder. It is about knowing who you are and what has been given to you.

This Truth breaks the lie that authority belongs only to “special” believers. Authority is not for the elite. It is for the righteous. It is for the believer who knows their identity. It is for the one who understands that right standing in Christ, qualifies them to stand boldly, speak boldly, and resist boldly. You are not disqualified by your past. You are not disqualified by your weaknesses. You are not disqualified by your feelings. The Blood of Jesus has qualified you for authority.

Living qualified for authority shapes how you walk through each day. You resist the enemy with confidence because you know he must flee. You speak God’s Word boldly because you know Heaven backs your voice. You pray with conviction because you know you carry Christ’s name. You stand firm because you know you are not fighting alone—you are enforcing His finished victory. You walk in peace because authority produces stability.

Today is about embracing the Truth that authority is not something you earn—it is something you inherit. You are qualified because Jesus qualified you. You are authorized because He authorized you. You are victorious because He is victorious.
