“But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5 (BSB)

Healing is not just something God does—healing is who you are in Christ. The Word does not describe a possibility. It declares an identity. “By His stripes we are healed” is not a future promise or a hopeful wish. It is a present‑tense reality rooted in the finished work of Jesus. Healing is not something you are trying to become. Healing is something Jesus already made you. You are not the sick trying to get healed. You are the healed resisting sickness. Your identity is not shaped by symptoms, doctor’s reports, or past experiences. Your identity is shaped by the stripes Jesus bore on His back.

To say “you are healed” means healing is not an event—it is a position. It is not a feeling—it is a covenant identity. When Jesus took stripes, He didn’t just make healing available; He made healing yours. He didn’t just open the door to healing; He placed healing in your spiritual DNA. You are healed because Jesus was wounded. You are whole because Jesus was broken. You are restored because Jesus was crushed. Healing is not earned. Healing is inherited. It flows from who you are, not what you feel.

This Truth breaks the lie that sickness defines you. Many believers unknowingly carry a sickness identity— “my condition,” “my diagnosis,” “my issue.” But the Cross rewrote your identity. You are not defined by what attacked you. You are defined by what Jesus accomplished. Sickness may try to attach itself to your body, but it cannot attach itself to your identity. You are healed. You are whole. You are restored. The enemy wants you to believe healing is distant so you will accept sickness as normal. But God declares the opposite. Healing is your identity. Sickness is the trespasser.

Living this way produces confidence and boldness. You stop asking, “Will God heal me?” and start declaring, “I am the healed of the Lord.” You stop letting symptoms tell you who you are and start letting Scripture tell you who you are. You stop fighting for healing and start fighting from healing. Identity changes everything—your words, your posture, your expectation, your resistance. When you know you are healed, you stop tolerating what Jesus already defeated.

Today is about embracing the Truth that healing is not something you pursue—it is something you possess. You are the healed of the Lord, and no symptom has the right to redefine what Jesus already established.

Confession: I am the healed of the Lord. By His stripes, healing is my identity, my reality, and my inheritance.

Prayer: Father, thank You that healing is who I am in Christ. Establish this identity in my heart so I walk in the wholeness Jesus purchased.

Closing Charge: Stand in your identity today—you are the healed of the Lord.
